Using Midrash to Bring Bible Stories To Life
Description: The ancient technique of midrash has been used since time immemorial by rabbis and storytellers like Jesus to make a point, comment or deepen our understanding of the barebones Bible, bringing us closer to God. Modern Christian midrash writers focus on character and authentic, Jewish story worlds to put their readers right there, in the action. This workshop is an opportunity to learn about and practice midrash. We shall be going deep into the story of The Wedding at Cana
WORKSHOP FACILITATOR:
BOBBIE ANN COLE
is a Christian writer, speaker and writing teacher. She is the author of two Amazon # 1 bestselling memoirs and a novel, Being Lena Levi, shortlisted for the Eyelands Book of the Year Award 2019. She teaches a selection of courses for Christian writers, as well as being a book coach, and runs a number of interesting free groups. She has three children, all grown up and married. Originally from the UK, with a Jewish background, Bobbie and her Canadian husband Butch live in Maritime Canada.

is a writer, speaker, host, creator, and producer who especially enjoys creating nurturing community.
