My Work In Progress:
Messiah’s Mother – Mary’s Painful Journey from Mother to Disciple
This work began as a crusade against bland Mary, saintly, heavenward-gazing Mary. I believe she was gutsy and forthright, as well as deep in faith. Though she was chosen by God, in many ways, her story, when the mothering was done, is not so different from many of us today.
- Her son’s ministry was bookended by his addressing her as ‘woman’ – never ‘imma’
- Her family was torn apart by the rift between Yeshua and his brothers
- She would have missed their companionable evening conversations under the pomegranate tree .
- She knew the pain of obsolescence, endured by many a mother of a grown-up son today.
- She yearned for purpose after mothering.
- She endured her son’s humiliating and excruciatingly painful death.
- Her own journey to new purpose in life as a disciple is an inspiration and encouragement to us all.

“This gripping novel will take you on a journey into the real drama for many Holocaust survivors. It touched my heart.” Nancy Wilson, author, speaker, global ambassador for CRU, Orlando.
”You have done something very precious for me. You have not only helped me to see a potential structure for my book, you have also validated my personal journey. You’ve shown me how you see me and my journey in a way that I have great difficulty in perceiving for myself.”

Books: I believe that every story explores love. I would love you to lose yourself in love in my books.
Talks: My amazing faith story echoes that of biblical Ruth and brings with it the breath of the Holy Spirit. My Jewish background and years spent in Israel as a Messianic Jew help me to talk about Jewish Jesus, Judaism and Israel, from Bible times to the present day.
Teaching: Workshops and courses should be fun and inspirational, as well as enlightening. I encourage learning through discussion. Whether we’re honing our writing or storytelling skills, discovering new perspectives on Bible stories or discussing topics raised in my books, the keywords are ENTERTAIN, EDUCATE and ELEVATE through ENJOYMENT.
